IN- PERSON on VASHON Therapeutic Yoga Explorations! Anchoring and the core

Therapeutic Yoga Explorations

IN-PERSON on VASHON

This is a slow paced, all-levels hatha yoga class with therapeutic elements interwoven through practice around a theme. All bodies welcome! Space is fully accessible!

Focus: Anchoring and the core

Delve into the deep front fascial line and core. More subtly, I want to invite you to explore the art of pratyahara, the 5th limb of yoga, which means the direction of the senses inward. This can be a powerful skill that evolves from repeated practice over time. It allows us to release the overwhelm of our senses in the outer world and pull our attention inward, deepening our ability to rest and anchor. We will continue our focus on centering and anchoring but start to knit together some of the ways we have focused this year, connecting the pelvis and legs to the core.Physically we will work with the psoas and various aspects of the core to create stability, which can be deeply reassuring to our nervous systems when we are under pressure.

You will receive the location on registration- please register in advance!
