Tomorrow I am beginning my first in-person classes since shutdown, both at Yoga Tree:
https://www.yogatree.com
10am Hatha
12pm Vinyasa
Both classes will be hybrid in=person/online.
I also will be seeing private clients there in the afternoon. For now, Fridays are my only in-person day.
I am so looking forward to being in actual space and time for practice with you. And I have this request:
Many of you know I work extensively with people with immune compromises and chronic illnesses. And I am myself a single mother, so I am on my own if my kids or I get sick. I have chosen to be fully vaccinated and so have my kids. I know there is a lot to weigh in any medical decision, and there are risks and benefits to any medical choice. I don’t have the authority to tell anyone what their choices should be- but I do have the right to ask that my boundary be respected.
If you choose to come to my public classes in person, please be fully vaccinated. If not, please join me online. My classes will be limited to 6 in person, no limit online.
Either way, you will be supporting my ability to both offer public class (these are my only 2 studio classes) and the safety of those I work with privately or in medical settings.
If we have learned anything from this time, it is how interconnected we are and how mutually vulnerable. There are many ways of honoring that.
Thank you for honoring my boundary so that we can enter practice in this spirit of community.
